How do I get more out of the current market?

   It’s already a buyers market, so that pretty much means I can get the best deals by going out and putting in low ball offers on properties for sale. That is mostly correct, with the help of a real estate agent you can also shop expired properties that were for sale. What this allows you to do is write offers to people who are ready willing and able to sell their homes, and will take less money. Now by less money I actually mean having your real estate agent write an offer to the sellers, and they only have to pay around half of the full listing commission, saving you thousands.

 This isn’t all sunshine and rainbows however, true you can save 3-5% off the price of a home, but there are pitfalls. You might consider the fact that you are more likely to get into legal trouble because there is only one real estate licensee involved representing or more parties. This can lead to problems, however if you use someone who is skilled, and knows the workings of real estate law, you should be fine, and save some money.
